Harry Potter
A connected guide to the seven Harry Potter novels, their film adaptations and selected PC games set in the Wizarding World.
Harry Potter began as a seven-volume fantasy series following an orphaned boy who discovers that he belongs to a hidden magical society. The books move from the wonder of Harry's first years at Hogwarts into a much larger conflict involving the history of the wizarding world, the return of Lord Voldemort and the choices made by Harry and the people around him.
Master4Game treats the books as the spine of this world. The eight main films adapt that central story, while the games approach it in different ways: some retell the familiar adventures, some focus on a particular part of wizarding life, and Hogwarts Legacy moves back to the nineteenth century to tell an original story in the same setting.
If you are new to the world, start with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. If you already know the books or films and want to explore the setting from another angle, Hogwarts Legacy is the broadest modern game entry point. The timeline below keeps books, films and games together so you can see how the world expanded across media.
